How we protect the platform

Defense in depth

• Age gate & RTA label. Every visitor confirms 18+; parental-control tools can block the site at the device level.
• Identity-backed verification where required by state law, using a trusted third-party vendor with minimal data retention.
• Input and output classifiers tuned for child safety, non-consensual real-person depictions, and other zero-tolerance categories.
• Retrieval and policy filters inside the model stack that refuse or redirect disallowed requests.
• Human review of flagged content, escalations, and appeals.
• Hashing & re-upload prevention for removed content.
• Reporting pipeline to NCMEC for apparent CSAM per 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, and to law enforcement where required.

NCII & Deepfake Removal

If content on the Services depicts you (or a person you are authorized to represent) in sexual or sexually suggestive conduct without consent (including digital forgeries and “deepfakes”), email ncii@afterdark.ai with the subject “NCII Takedown.” Consistent with the TAKE IT DOWN Act, we will act on a verified request within 48 hours. Reporting a Minor

If you believe a person under 18 is using the Services, email safety@afterdark.ai with any information you have. We freeze suspected accounts, trigger identity-backed re-verification, and escalate where appropriate.

Law Enforcement

Official law-enforcement requests and preservation letters should be sent to legal@afterdark.ai. We respond to legally valid requests, provide preservation within standard timeframes, and challenge requests that are overbroad, unlawful, or likely to harm our users. Emergency requests involving a risk of imminent death or serious bodily harm may be sent to the same address with “EMERGENCY” in the subject.
